Frustrating!

I have used this app for a while despite its mediocre performance because there wasnt anything else available. But since I upgraded the OS on my iPad this app has gone from bad to worse. The keyboard section of the screen disappears and you have to rotate it 90 degrees from landscape mode and back again in order to type. You cant change the settings for volume, speech rate, or letter size because the sliders dont work. The vendor sends messages every few months promising a major upgrade but nothing happens.
Fortunately the iPad now has a free text to speech setting that is much better than this app.
